ExpressJet Flight Attendants Still Without a Joint Contract

Nearly six years after the IAM was elected to represent the ExpressJet and Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight attendants, a joint collective bargaining agreement covering both groups has yet to be reached. In fact, resolutions to many topics including pay, scheduling, leaves of absence and a merged seniority list have not been reached.  In January 2016, the IAM took the next step toward potentially concluding negotiations by requesting a “proffer of arbitration” from the National Mediation Board (NMB) but has not received it.  To learn more about the negotiations process and the proffer of arbitration click here.
